Canadian Rural Partnership, Pilot Projects 2000-2001. Québec. The project is aimed at providing a centralized support system for Native youth so that they can develop their aspirations. A drop-in centre would be established, providing youth with a range of programs and appropriate services in the cultural area. Exchanges with non-Native young people are planned under this project, which will be implemented in Maniwaki.

Le projet vise à fournir aux jeunes Autochtones urbains un système de soutien centralisé qui leur permette de développer leurs aspirations. Un centre serait mis sur pied pour servir de halte-accueil et offrir aux jeunes un éventail de programmes et de services appropriés du point de vue culturel. Des échanges avec des jeunes qui ne sont pas autochtones sont prévus dans le cadre de ce projet, dont la mise en œuvre se fera à Maniwaki.
