Bruyance (Noisiness; N). Il s'agit d'une notion très voisine de celle de sonie (loudness) et qui est surtout utilisée pour le bruit des avions (normes OACI (Organisation de l'aviation civile internationale) de certification). Les courbes d'égale bruyance ressemblent aux courbes d'égale perception, avec une accentuation de la zone 2-5 kHz pour tenir compte de l'accroissement de sensibilité de l'oreille dans cette gamme. L'unité d'indice de bruyance est le Noy (N).
