CONT

What chemical elements are found in cells? What kinds of molecules are present in living matter? In what proportions? How did they come to be there? ln what ways are the kinds of molecules found in living cells especially suited for their roles? As we seek answers to these questions, we must examine biomolecules as we would nonbiological molecules, by the same principles and approaches used in classical chemistry.

CONT
