The mandate of the Nunavut Federal Council (NFC) is to promote and facilitate communications and cooperation among federal managers responsible for programs and services in Nunavut with departmental headquarters, regional offices and central agencies and, where appropriate, with the Government of Nunavut and Inuit birthright organizations; promote and facilitate cooperation on policy development, program delivery, shared service and management initiatives among federal departments, and with other potential partners.
