OBS

On-scene Co-ordinator authority may be delegated to primary Coast Guard SAR vessels, DND [Department of National Defense] aircraft, secondary Coast Guard vessels or other government vessels which have suitable equipment and trained personnel for the expeditious conduct of SAR operations.
