The Operational Readiness Program undertakes training activities such as scenario-based exercises, seminars and workshops. The program ensures the level of preparedness necessary to protect the Canadian public. In keeping with our international obligations, the program also ensures the safety of diplomatic personnel residing in or visiting Canada, as well as of other foreign nationals traveling or visiting this country, from terrorist threats.
