Under very special conditions, or with small groups, it is possible to use out-of-booth simultaneous interpretation. The interpreter has a headset, sits in the room and whispers into a microphone for participants using headsets to listen.

L'interprète, assis dans la salle, parle à voix basse devant un microphone mobile.
