The purpose of the Parent Finders of Canada, also known as Canadian Adoption Reunion Register, is to assist adult adoptees/foster persons and birth relatives to obtain background information from adoption files kept in social services departments; to assist in search and reunion; to promote a feeling of openness about the adoption experience and a better understanding about the longing for a reunion between adult adoptees and birth relatives. This organization is established in Vancouver, British Columbia.
