Planned for completion by March 31, 2001, the Parliamentary Precinct Information Technology Program has four main phases: ensuring campus-wide connectivity to support the Justice Building; providing Senators and Members of the House of Commons in all buildings with quality of service equal to the Justice Building; ensuring appropriate quality of service to Whips, party Caucuses and Research Offices; and providing equal quality of service to remaining precinct-wide administrative offices.

Amorcée en avril 1999, la mise en œuvre du Programme de la technologie de l'information pour la Cité parlementaire (PTICP) doit se terminer d'ici le 31 mars 2001. Le PTICP focalise sur quatre éléments principaux : assurer la connectivité entre l'immeuble de la Justice et toutes les autres installations du complexe parlementaire; dans tous les immeubles, dispenser aux sénateurs et aux députés des services de qualité équivalent à ceux fournis dans l'immeuble de la Justice; dispenser des services de qualité appropriée aux Whips, aux caucus de partis et aux bureaux de recherche; et donner des services de qualité équivalent aux autres bureaux administratifs dans la Cité parlementaire.
