The major business functions of the PAYDAC system are accounting and enforcement activities associated with the remittance of source deductions by employers in Canada. Also included are activities associated with processing employer returns, including follow-up on missing returns, as well as reconciliation of returns and amounts posted to the account during the year. As well, PAYDAC generates numerous outputs to employers.
