Bitume dont les performances sont nettement supérieures à celles des bitumes naturels, tant en ce qui concerne la réponse élastique (allongement maximum) que leurs propriétés thermiques (point de ramollissement, température minimum de flexion à froid).

CONT

La technique de l'enduit consiste à emprisonner des cailloux dans la structure gel formée par le bitume polymère. Le gel oppose une résistance élastique si l'on tente de détacher un des granulats.
