CONT

Towards the end of the last century, there appeared to be an increase interest in the use of scattering surfaces within concert halls. Certainly there was an explosion in their use in listening and studio control rooms. One catalyst for this was Schroeder's pioneering design of diffusers, such as the Quadratic Residue Diffuser (QRD), which gave acousticians the possibility of designing diffusers with known acoustic characteristics. French

Domaine(s)
  • Acoustique (Physique)
  • Isolation et acoustique architecturale
DEF
