An apprentice is obliged to: apply himself to his on-the-job training and make every effort to learn the trade and attain the skills of a qualified tradesperson.

OBS

On providing evidence to the Employer that s/he has satisfied all the requirements of the Apprenticeship and Trades Qualifications Act to become a fully qualified tradesperson, an Employee who has served his/her apprenticeship while in the employ of the University shall receive a rate of pay equal to 100% of the applicable journeyperson rate specified in Schedule "A".
