Anneaux de croissance. a) à la souche. Le sondage se fait à la tarière de Pressler, à 30 cm au-dessus du plus haut niveau du sol, et ce, pour les essences résineuses seulement. Le nombre total de cernes annuels est compté sur la carotte de sondage et enregistré. [...] b) au D.H.P. Si l'arbre est carié à la souche, l'âge pris au D.H.P. est enregistré.
