World champion Paralympian Jeff Adams is planning a new challenge that will take him to the top of Toronto's CN Tower this fall. On September 20th, Adams will use a specially-designed wheelchair to climb the 1,776 steps to the top of the tower in a bid to raise money for the Variety Village outreach program and awareness of accessibility issues. The outreach program allows students and professionals to experience the challenges of living with a disability. Organizers of the Raising Awareness to New Heights event are selling steps up the tower in increasing value from $1 for the first step, to $1,776 for the top one.
