In partnership with Human Resources Development Canada, the Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP) Summer Student Program gives students the opportunity to work alongside regular members as sworn peace officers with powers of arrest and dressed in regular uniform. Students perform a variety of duties, with the objective of gaining knowledge of and experience in front and operations of the criminal justice system and the RCMP. Managed by the Crime Prevention/Victims' Services Branch of the RCMP, the program runs from May to September each year.

En coopération avec Développement des ressources humaines Canada, ce programme de la Gendarmerie royale du Canada (GRC) donne aux étudiants l'occasion de travailler aux côtés des membres attitrés ayant pouvoir d'arrestation et portant l'uniforme. Les étudiants effectuent une gamme variée d'activités, le but étant d'acquérir des connaissances et de l'expérience dans le fonctionnement du système judiciaire criminel et de la GRC. Géré par la Direction générale de la prévention de crimes et des services aux victimes de la GRC, le programme se déroule de mai à septembre chaque année.
