Car l'idée est de laisser la nature (re) prendre soin d'elle-même. Quitte, au départ, à lui donner un coup de pouce en réimplantant des espèces, végétales ou animales, disparues ou mises en danger par les activités humaines dans une région donnée. Mais attention, le réensauvagement, ce n'est pas simplement de la réintroduction d'espèce. Il s'agit ici de recréer tout un écosystème, de retrouver l'état naturel d'une région, et ensuite, de passer la main à la nature.
