REOXYGENATION [1 record]

Record 1 1979-03-29

English

Subject field(s)
  • Water Pollution
DEF

The replenishment of oxygen in a stream from dilution water entering the stream, biological reoxygenation through the activities of certain oxygen-producing plants, and atmospheric reaeration.

OBS

According to our English sources, "reoxygenation" differs from "reaeration" whereby a body of water receives replacement oxygen from the atmosphere alone.

French

Domaine(s)
  • Pollution de l'eau
DEF
