Interaction fluide-structure [...] Ce thème de recherche regroupe l'étude du mouvement de systèmes complexes comportant des corps rigides, des structures souples (câbles) et des fluides. Deux applications sont plus précisement envisagées : a) La première concerne la stabilité d'attitude des satellites en rotation munis de réservoirs partiellement remplis de liquide. Le but de l'étude est l'obtention d'un critère de stabilité qui prend en compte le couplage entre le mouvement de ballottement du fluide et le mouvement d'ensemble d'un satellite tournant. Il s'agit d'un problème difficile pour lequel les méthodes numériques classiques ne s'appliquent pas.
