The Snowmobilers Association of Nova Scotia (S.A.N.S.) is an incorporated non-profit association mandated to provide leadership and support to [its] member snowmobile clubs so that they may enjoy quality recreational snowmobiling opportunities on a province-wide network of safe and well developed snowmobile trails. The SANS along with [its] 21 member clubs, representing approximately 2,400 snowmobiling families throughout Nova Scotia, [is] dedicated to the enhancement of organized snowmobiling through such means as; Trail Development, Safety, Public Education, and Advocacy. ... La méthode DNPA (SANS : small angle neutron scattering) [...] consiste à irradier avec un faisceau parallèle de neutrons l'échantillon à analyser. Les hétérogénéités chimiques du matériau provoquant une diffusion des neutrons incidents au petits angles, l'analyse de l'intensité diffusée permet de caractériser ces hétérogénéités. Cette méthode est largement utilisée pour quantifier (taille et densité) les petits amas de soluté ou les petites cavités dans les aciers irradiés. C'est une méthode complémentaire de la microscopie électronique en transmission ou de techniques comme la sonde atomique.
