"Maine Coast Sea Vegetables" was born in 1971 over a pot of miso soup. In it were some alaria fronds just plucked from the sea ... We now offer four varieties : alaria, dulse, kelp, and nori. They are hand harvested directly from their beds at low tides, dried in the sun or in a wood heated shed, and packed without further processing into bulk boxes for bags.
