Une année plus tard, on est retourné voir 42 éducatrices séronégatives (il n'y avait pas eu d'anticorps contre le C.M.V. dans leur sérum) qui travaillaient toujours en garderie afin de voir quel était le taux de séroconversion (passage vers un résultat positif ou évidence de nouvelles infections). En 12 mois, 24 p. cent d'entre elles étaient devenues séropositives. Parmi ces éducatrices, le taux de séroconversion était de 50 p. cent pour celles qui s'occupaient d'enfants de moins de trois ans [...]
