Skate Canada is an Association dedicated to the principles of enabling every Canadian to participate in skating throughout their lifetime, for fun, fitness and/or achievement. Skate Canada is the largest figure skating governing body in the world. We provide standards and rules for the figure skating activities of our members. The Association qualifies and appoints judges, referees and other officials, conducts training seminars for skaters and coaches, provides financial support to national team athletes and disseminates information concerning figure skating to the general public.

Patinage Canada a pour mandat de permettre à tous les Canadiens et Canadiennes de patiner au cours de leur vie, que ce soit pour le plaisir, pour rester en forme ou pour réaliser des exploits. Patinage Canada est le plus important organisme directeur de sport au monde. Il fournit des normes et des règlements pour les activités de patinage artistique de ses membres. L'association qualifie et nomme des juges, des arbitres et d'autres officiels, organise des séminaires de formation pour les patineurs et les entraîneurs, offre un soutien financier aux athlètes des équipes nationales et diffuse de l'information au grand public à propos du patinage artistique.
