Arianne 78 est un système développé à Grenoble par le Groupe d'études pour la traduction automatique GETA qu'anime le professeur B. Vauguois. Une de ses caractéristiques essentielles réside dans la séparation entre la partie logicielle du système (comportant entre autres les algorithmes de traduction) et les modèles linguistiques (dictionnaires et grammaires) propres à chaque langue.
