From 1983 to 1995, The Southeast Asian Fisheries Information System (SEAFIS) was implemented and has contributed to development of a network for fishery information within the region for the purpose of research, planning and development. Until the termination of this project, a total of six volumes of Regional bibliography on Fishery and Aquaculture in Southeast Asia and three issues of the Thai Fisheries Bibliography have been published.
