A Tripartite Task Force on Native Child Welfare was established in 1992-93, and includes Indian and Northern Affairs Canada, the Province of Manitoba, and the Assembly of Manitoba Chiefs. Un groupe de travail tripartite sur la protection de l'enfance autochtone, composé de représentants du ministère des Affaires indiennes et du Nord canadien, du gouvernement du Manitoba et de l'Assemblée des chefs du Manitoba, a été mis sur pied en 1992-1993.
