Ces comptes servent à enregistrer la charge fiscale prévue sur le résultat de l'exercice clôturé. Outre les versements anticipatifs, le compte 670 enregistre également les précomptes effectivement payés ou retenus à charge de l'entreprise et imputables à l'impôt sur les bénéfices. À noter toutefois que le précompte immobilier est porté au compte 64 (Autres charges d'exploitation). En fin d'exercice, il est fait une estimation de l'impôt sur les bénéfices grevant les résultats de l'exercice.
