Religious organisation for Protestant Christians in China. It believes the church should be self-propagating, self-supporting and self-governing. i.e. totally independent of foreign help. It is directly accountable to the Communist Party. The top leadership is political, but most lower level pastors and ordinary believers love the Lord.
