Test visant à détecter toute hausse ou baisse de la fonction thyroïdienne par un examen physique en clinique et une série d'analyses en laboratoire.

OBS

Certains des tests les plus courants reposent sur l'évaluation directe ou indirecte des deux hormones thyroïdiennes, la triiodothyronine (T3) et la tétraïodothyronine (T4). On mesure aussi fréquemment la captation de l'iode radioactif par la thyroïde.
