The alpha-dose was measured by CR-39 track-dosimeter. The morphological changes of the cells and the traces were investigated by phase-contrast optical microscopy and by atomic force microscopy in low force contact mode.

Des dosimètres particuliers sont utilisés pour la dosimétrie des neutrons. Il s’agit de dosimètres de traces (CR39) constitués de matériaux sur lesquels le rayonnement neutronique provoque des impacts qui se manifestent par des trous (traces) après traitement chimique. Ces traces sont comptées par microscopie électronique et le nombre par unité de surface est proportionnel à la fluence des neutrons incidents. La dose peut alors être calculée en fonction de l’énergie des neutrons.
