The Transformative Technologies Program, announced by Minister Emerson on September 20, 2005, shares with Canadian industry in the costs of innovation and technology adoption projects. Its goal is to support leading-edge industrial research in Canada and to ensure that Canadian firms are competitive in the global economy.
