Mississauga, Ontario-based United Parcel Service Canada Ltd. is a subsidiary of Atlanta, Georgia-based United Parcel Service Inc., the world's largest package delivery company and a leading global provider of specialized transportation and logistics services. The company was founded in 1970 to provide private messenger and delivery services in the Seattle, Washington area UPS's Canadian division was established in 1975 in Ontario, and built up its infrastructure with the deregulation in 1987.
