External leakage of an extremely small quantity of fluid at the surface of sliding parts due to wiping of the liquid from the wetted surface by seals or scrapers. Drops of fluid may be formed after a number of actuation cycles to be defined. If there is no relative motion between the seals/scrapers and the wetted surface, weepage must not occur.
