La Fundación del Español Urgente (Fundéu BBVA), con el asesoramiento de la Real Academia Española, indica que "Día Mundial del Alzhéimer" se escribe con iniciales mayúsculas (Día, Mundial y Alzhéimer), pues así es como la norma señala que debe hacerse con los sustantivos y adjetivos que forman parte del nombre de festividades, ya sean civiles, militares o religiosas y con acento por referirse en este caso, a la enfermedad.
