The International Labour Organization (ILO) launched a top-level commission comprising Presidents, politicians, academics, social experts and a Nobel Economics laureate which, for the first time, will address the social dimension of globalization. The ultimate goal of the World Commission on the Social Dimensions of Globalization is to use the process of globalization as a resource to reduce poverty and unemployment, to foster growth and sustainable development.

L'Organisation internationale du Travail (OIT) a mis en place une commission de haut niveau composée d'un certain nombre de chefs d'État, de personnalités politiques, d'universitaires, de spécialistes des questions sociales et d'un Prix Nobel de l'économie. Cette commission est investie d'une mission qui consistera à étudier la dimension sociale de la mondialisation. La Commission mondiale sur la dimension sociale de la mondialisation a pour objectif ultime de parvenir à ce que la mondialisation soit un moyen de faire reculer la pauvreté et le chômage, au profit de la croissance et d'un développement durable.

La Organización Internacional del Trabajo (OIT) anunció la creación de una comisión de alto nivel integrada por Presidentes, personalidades políticas, eminencias académicas, especialistas en cuestiones sociales y un Premio Nobel de Economía, comisión que abordará, por vez primera, la dimensión social de la globalización. El objetivo último de la Comisión Mundial sobre la Dimensión Social de la Globalización es utilizar el proceso de globalización como recurso para reducir la pobreza y el desempleo e impulsar el crecimiento y el desarrollo sostenible.
