Schéma de moteur d'inférence exprimé dans un langage sans variables locales. Il ne sait appliquer que des règles établies une fois pour toutes, ce qui exclue, par exemple, le travail sur des ensembles flous.

Les programmes les moins sophistiqués lisent les données en début de consultation. Ils raisonnent sur ces données et fournissent un résultat sans profiter des qualités d'interactivité des ordinateurs. C'est ce que j'appellerai un moteur nu.

OBS

Le terme "moteur nu" a été créé en 1983 par Alain Bonnet. L'expression "moteur d'ordre 0+" désigne tous les moteurs qui autorisent la déclaration de variables (c'est-à-dire les moteurs d'ordre 1 ou 2). On dit aussi "moteur 0" et "moteur 1".
