One of four new terms proposed by Transports Québec in order to describe visibility conditions. The terminology is very simple, and will help drivers get a handle on road conditions, which are colour-coded to correspond with winter driving situations.

Préoccupé par la sécurité des conducteurs et soucieux de faciliter leurs déplacements, le Ministère propose une nouvelle terminologie qui vise à uniformiser le langage utilisé pour diffuser l'information sur les conditions routières hivernales. De plus, pour que le conducteur s'adapte mieux aux conditions, un conseil et une couleur sont associés à chacune des éventualités.
