Hallucination visuelle qui consiste en vision d'animaux (généralement féroces et terrifiants).

La zoopsie appartient aussi au tableau clinique de ces hallucinations. Les hystériques voient des animaux de toutes sortes, généralement fort patibulaires, des bêtes souvent en forme d’araignées, parfois grosses comme une tortue noire et couverte de poils. Rats, souris, chiens vipères, lion, lézard dans le ventre sont les visions les plus fréquemment rapportées.
