The in vitro activity of cefsulodin (CGP 7174/E, SCE 129), a new semi-synthetic cephalosporin, was examined and its interaction with other antimicrobial agents evaluated. Cefsulodin was highly active against Pseudomonas aeruginosa but relatively inactive against coliform bacilli. (Source: Journal of Antimicrobial Chemotherapy, 1979, vol. 5, p. 687).
