A [worker] who is specifically engaged in the development of World Wide Web applications, or distributed network applications that are run over the http protocol using an http server, a Web server, an http client and a Web browser.

CONT

Web developers cannot assume that all end-users can apply the full range of human physical and sensory ability or that they make use of a standard suite of computer technology for their Web usage, but must consider mobile communications technologies such as hands-free/eyes-free systems, speech synthesis and voice recognition technologies, one-button scanning and control features and mice-emulators, and alternative input systems (touch screens, eye-gaze systems, mouse or trackball devices).

web developer: The Translation Bureau recommends in its revised 2013 Linguistic Recommendation that "web" not be capitalized when it is part of a compound, whether the compound is written as two words or one, with or without a hyphen.

desarrollador web: El Diccionario panhispánico de dudas, de la Real Academia Española, indica que "web" se escribe en minúscula cuando se emplea como adjetivo. En cuanto al número, aunque es frecuente el plural invariable (sitios web), recomienda también la forma "webs" (los sitios webs).
