With the modern electronic scoring systems, the flash cards are used only as a side system if the electronic device is not functioning properly.

Carton sur lequel on inscrit la note d’un participant à une compétition sportive.

OBS

La carte de note a d’abord été un carton sur lequel on inscrivait la note accordée à l'athlète en sports jugés(gymnastique, plongeon, nage synchronisée, saut à ski, etc.). L'ont remplacée les séquences de cartons en numérotation continue articulés sur un rabat, que les juges utilisaient pour composer la note(avec centièmes de points) attribuée. Avec l'avènement de l'électronique, la carte de note n’ est plus utilisée qu'au cours d’événements où les installations ne comprennent pas encore de matériel électronique, ou comme système d’appoint en cas de bris du système de marquage électronique.

OBS

Les puristes veulent que «marque», ou «compte», soit le terme correct pour signifier les points accordés, obtenus ou accumulés, «score», un anglicisme, et «pointage», un canadianisme. L’usage n’a pas cette rigueur et les sources diffèrent d’avis.
