The first 9 holes of an 18-hole course. 4, record 1, English, - front%20nine
Record number: 1, Textual support number: 1 OBS
When a golf course has more than 18 holes, colours usually distinguish the various nines but still, the first and, most of the time, original two nines are called "front and back nines". 4, record 1, English, - front%20nine
Record number: 1, Textual support number: 2 OBS
The front nine of an 18-hole golf course is also called the "front side", the "out nine" (to play the out nine first), or the "out" (to have a better score on the out than on the in), but these terms are inappropriate on golf courses having more than 18 holes. 4, record 1, English, - front%20nine

Record number: 1, Textual support number: 1 CONT
1, record 1, French, - premier%20neuf
Record number: 1, Textual support number: 1 OBS
1, record 1, French, - premier%20neuf
