OBS

This program provides for the payment of a non-taxable monthly allowance (in addition to the federal Child Tax Benefit) to the parent or guardian of an unmarried child under the age of 18 who is not a ward of the province. The applicant must have resided in Quebec for at least one month or be paying Quebec income tax. Persons eligible for the Child Tax Benefit are not required to apply; they receive the provincial benefits automatically.

Ce programme prévoit le paiement d'une allocation mensuelle non imposable (en plus de la Prestation fiscale pour enfants du fédéral) au parent ou au tuteur d'un enfant non marié de moins de 18 ans qui n'est pas un pupille de la province. Le requérant doit résider au Québec depuis au moins un mois ou payer de l'impôt à cette province. Les personnes qui ont droit à la Prestation fiscale pour enfants ne sont pas tenues de présenter une demande d'allocations provinciales; elles les reçoivent automatiquement.
