The Argentine Oceanographic Data Center (CEADO) was on March 1st 1974, as an agreement between the Naval Hydrographic Service (SHN) and the National Scientific and Technical Research Council (CONICET). As of June 22nd 1999, the Center depends exclusively of the Naval Hydrographic Service. The principal aim of the CEADO is to support Marine Sciences research and development by providing oceanographic data and information to the national and international scientific community, private and public companies and others users who may request this information. 1, record 1, English, - Argentine%20Oceanographic%20Data%20Center

El CEADO fue creado el 1º de marzo de 1974 por convenio entre el Servicio de Hidrografía Naval (SHN) y el Consejo Nacional de Investigaciones Científicas y Técnicas (CONICET). A partir del 22 de junio de 1999, el Centro pasó a depender en forma exclusiva del Servicio de Hidrografía Naval.
