When used as a pipeline exposure device, the source capsule assembly is projected to the radiographic exposure position by means of a "push-pull" drive cable attached to the lifting at the rear of the exposure device. When the drive cable is in "push-in" position, the source capsule assembly compresses the retaining spring and moves forward to a window in the shielding. When the drive cable is retracted or "pull-back", the retaining spring recoils and moves the source capsule assembly back to the fully shielded position. 1, record 1, English, - push%2Dpull%20drive%20cable

Lorsque l'appareil sert à l'exposition d'un pipeline, la source est sortie au moyen d'un câble de commande de type «poussée et traction» qui est fixé au raccord à l'arrière de l'appareil. Lorsque le câble est en position «poussée», la source vient comprimer le ressort de retenue et se déplace jusqu'à la fenêtre d'exposition.
