(2) based in The Hague, founded 1992 in Rio de Janeiro, at the United Nations Conference on Environment and Development UNCED [United Nations Conference on Environment and Development] following suggestion of Mikhail Gorbachev; charter adopted 18-19 April 1993, Kyoto; also known as: International Green Cross/Green Crescent; aims to relieve man-made environmental disasters, promote value change for a sustainable future through education and communication.
