The CCCJ (Canadian Council of Christians and Jews) produces a nation-wide market research study regularly. The report, Canadians' Attitudes Toward Race and Ethnic Relations in Canada, is known as the "Harmony Barometer". It examines the attitudes and behaviours of Canadians toward people of different ethnic, religious and racial backgrounds. The purpose of the studies is to enlighten Canadians about human relations issues and to assist the CCCJ to further its goals in eliminating prejudice. The survey has been conducted in 1993 and 1995.
