In metal containers, especially cans, the scoring operation cuts partially through the metal sheet both to facilitate and to direct the tearing when the container is opened by tearing out a strip, as by the use of a key opener. Such scores are usually either parallel or herring-bone patterns.

Our single-serving containers are constructed so that the digger nose on the pull-tab breaks the seal of the lid as the pull-tab is lifted. If the digger nose is not centered on the score,the seal will not break and the container can't be opened using the pull-tab.

Il comprend une languette rigide et une découpe d'ouverture pré-marquée qui se déchire en tirant sur la languette après l'avoir soulevée.
