OBS

The Nova Scotia School Boards Association is the provincial voice for school boards. The Association represents Nova Scotia's eight school boards that serve more than 156,000 students. Founded in 1954, the NSSBA is governed by a board of directors consisting of one representative elected from each of its eight member boards, and a five-person executive elected from the membership at large. The membership meets annually to adopt major policies and positions, and elect an executive. Concerns are directed to the Minister of Education in the form of an annual resolutions package.
