The new portal was developed by Industry Canada (IC) and PWGSC [Public Works and Government Services Canada] and brings together the combined strength of more than 28 federal government departments and agencies. The Gateway is being produced under the auspices of Government On-Line, an ongoing initiative to provide electronic access to government information and services.
